| HairLift HairCare had it's beginnings in a cozy Philadelphia apartment in September 2002. It's founder Nyema "Nye" Taylor, a native New Yorker, has been doing hair in and around the Philadelphia, Atlanta and New York metro areas collectively for 10 years. She has also styled heads in London's Brixton section. Nye has received extensive training from some of the nation's top salons, Philadelphia's Berean Institute, and is a graduate of Joys School of Hair Design in East Orange, NJ. Nye has taken her knowledge and love of hair care and styling and parlayed it into a career creating cutting edge styles for progressive women and up and coming entertainers. Some of Nye's most recent achievements include being a featured stylist at Genesis - the International African Arts Festival Hair Show, and several features in Braids & Beauty Magazine as well as Sophisticates Black Hair Magazine. The Companies product line has enjoyed rapidly growing success and can be found in both salons and retail shops from New York & New Jersey to Barbados. |
